THE DAMNING FISKVILLE REPORT:

* Many people who lived and worked at Fiskville suffer debilitating illnesses, including cancer.

* The CFA didn't address concerns about people's health concerns.

* People were exposed to burning cocktails of unknown chemicals.

* The water used in firefighting training was contaminated.

* The CFA was aware of contamination at the site.

* Fiskville staff and CFA management provided incorrect information to regulatory authorities.

* CFA management repeatedly avoided taking responsibility for water quality at Fiskville.

* CFA board was advised in April 2010 of PFOS contamination.

* But they said they had no knowledge of it in December 2011.

* WorkSafe took 23 months to investigate a complaint about Fiskville, rather than the required three months.

* The EPA used a "soft touch" on the CFA but cracked down on Fiskville neighbours who had contaminated livestock.
