Teen pedestrian killed in Melbourne crash
A 13-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in Melbourne’s north.
Police were called to Somerton Road in Roxburgh Park about 7pm on Wednesday after a pedestrian was hit.

Paramedics tried to save the teen but he died at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the car weren’t injured and stopped after the crash.
Police, who are investigating what happened, called on anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or information to come forward.
The road was closed in both directions at David Munroe Drive and Pascoe Vale Road was closed northbound.
The closure remained in place after 10.30pm on Wednesday.
