Swami Army in force at the MCG for Test

India may be going in to the Boxing Day Test with defeat hanging over their shoulders but the Swami Army will be determined to cheer the visitors on.

Thousands of Indian supporters will be waving their nation's flag to encourage captain MS Dhoni's team and help them forget their recent defeats in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Between 60,000 and 70,000 cricket fans are expected to pack the MCG and will be hoping the predicted early showers clear quickly.
