Speedster caught outside Vic impound yard

A not-so-clever speedster has had his car impounded after speeding past a Victoria Police impound depot.
Police pulled over the 21-year-old driver after he was clocked doing 97km/h in a 50 zone past their Preston impound depot just after 2pm on Tuesday.
The Keysborough man's car has been impounded for 30 days, he will have to pay $890 to get it back and is expected to be charged on summons for exceeding the speed limit.
