One dead in Vic bus crash

A man is dead and three people are injured after a school bus and car collided in Melbourne's northwest.

The accident happened in Diggers Rest on Wednesday afternoon when a car attempted a right-hand turn in front of the bus, which was carrying three children.

The driver of the car, a man believed to be in his 50s, died after they collided.

Two other people who were in the car, and one of the children from the bus, have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
