Vic luxury car rental hit with bullets

A luxury car hire business has been peppered with bullets in Melbourne.

Several shots were fired into Dream Drives luxury vehicles in Burnley Street in Richmond late on Friday night, police believe.

Images from the scene show at least nine bullet holes in the front window of the business which were disovered by a passer by-on Saturday morning.

A neighbour said he heard six to eight "extremely loud bangs".

"It sounded so close. The echo and noise it made was so loud. It's a bit scary so close to your house," Darren told the Herald Sun on Saturday.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said there were no injuries reported and the investigation is ongoing.
