Shop owner punched in racial attack in Vic

A Victorian shop owner has been punched in the face by a teenage boy as he tried to protect his customers from racial abuse.

A young woman was also hit in the face by the teen's accomplice during the violent, racist outburst on Monday at a Shepparton fish and chip shop, police say.

The pair suffered minor injuries in the attack and police are yet to locate the teens who fled the scene on foot.
