Sex Party eyes Vic upper house

The Australian Sex Party will stand a candidate in every Victorian upper house seat at the November election.
Party president Fiona Patten says the party believes it has a chance to get as many as four candidates elected on November 29.
"As a truly non-aligned party who owes nothing to Labor, Liberal or the Greens, we are ideally placed to hold the balance of power," she said.

Ms Patten will run in the northern metropolitan region.
The party, which says its candidates will take a strong stance on civil liberties and the secular needs of all Victorians, will announce lower house candidates in coming weeks.
