Second person dies after Vic road crash

The driver of a car involved in a fatal crash in Victoria's Wimmera region on Thursday has died.

The 76-year-old man died in Horsham Hospital on Thursday evening, three hours after his car crashed into a tree between Dimboola and Rainbow.

A 74-year-old woman passenger died at the scene.

The deaths take the provisional road toll to 146, one more than the same time last year.
