Two men have been charged with murdering a Melbourne dressmaker whose body lay undiscovered for 10 days.

Lawrence Michael Duca, 45, and Abelardo Ramos, 35, allegedly shot The Phuong Vuong at suburban Deer Park on June 16.

Duca, of Coburg, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and has not applied for bail.

The court was told Duca has medical issues from a vehicle crash last year, in which he received several broken bones and needed his ankle reconstructed.

He is on several pain and anti-depressant medications and it is also Duca's first time in custody, his lawyer said.

Duca's co-accused, Abelardo Ramos, 35, appeared in the same court on Tuesday.

The two, who were arrested on Monday, were remanded in custody to reappear on November 21.

Mr Vuong, 49, was found dead on June 26 at his home, where he ran a sewing business.

Police believe he hadn't been seen since June 15.
