Mr Whimpey’s body was found in a barrel on April 24 at a property near Lake Eppalock, police said.

A 46-year-old man from Sunshine was today charged with one count of murder.

Another man, aged 31, was on Friday also charged with Mr Whimpey’s murder.

Both men will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw a silver 2009 Subaru Impreza travelling quickly along the Heathcote-Kyneton Road on the morning of October 24, 2016.
