Today the Police Air Wing will scour the Bastion Point boat ramps, Mallacoota Inlet, bush and scrubland today in an effort to find Mr Tory. Members from the SES, Parks Victoria, and CFA will also assist.

He is described as being 185 centimetres tall, and has short brown hair, blue eyes and a grey goatee.

There are concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition and the length of time he has been missing.

The 48-year-old is known to frequent fishing spots in South Gippsland, Warrnambool and Sapphire Coast in New South Wales.

Anyone who sights Mr Tory is urged to contact Mallacoota Police Station on 5158 0280
