SA teen gets mum's car impounded in Vic

A South Australian teenager has landed his mum's car in an impound yard after allegedly driving at 180km/h on a Victorian highway.
Police stopped the P-plate driver, 19, in his mum's car on the Hume Highway in Wangaratta about 4pm on Monday.
The car has been impounded for 30 days, the teen has been charged $1325 in towing and storage costs, and is expected to be charged with driving at a dangerous speed and exceeding the speed limit.
