A runaway truck has seriously injured its driver and narrowly avoided rolling into a busy intersection in Melbourne's CBD.
The driver, in her early 30s, sustained serious leg injuries after she was squashed between the truck and a wall as she tried to jump back in while it rolled along Flinders Lane just after midday.
The truck was stopped just metres from the intersection with Exhibition Street after it smashed into a garbage bin.
