Rocks thrown at girls in Vic racial attack

Three girls have been punched, had their headdresses snatched off them and rocks thrown at them during a racist attack at a Victorian park.

The girls, aged 11, 12 and 15, were at a park in Norlane near Geelong about 5.30pm on March 23 when they were racially abused by a gang of youths including being punched and their mobile phones damaged when they tried to phone police.

Police say rocks were then thrown at the girls when they tried to flee and they suffered minor injuries.
