They're some of Australia's most wanted and they could be hiding out in Victoria.

The 10 fugitives sought as part of Operation Roam are wanted over crimes including murder, attempted murder and a string of sexual assaults.

Others have a long rap sheet and are laying low after breaching parole.

The fugitives are Victorian or have links to the state and authorities warn they could have "assumed normal life in your suburb".

"We urge the public to continue to be our eyes and ears and report any information they may have about these persons," Crime Stoppers Victoria CEO Sam Hunter says.

Operation Roam is offering $1000 rewards for information leading to an arrest.

"We need the support of our community to help us capture these people," Victoria Police assistant commissioner Steve Fontana says.
