Review of Victorian fire services

Victoria's fire services are under review to ensure they are ready for the next fire season.

Former Tasmanian emergency services minister David O'Byrne will lead the review, to ensure the state's firefighters are properly equipped and fire ready, the Country Fire Authority says.

The review will focus on the management of fire services and how they can be best supported by agencies like Emergency Management Victoria.
