Register for evacuees of Vic bushfire
The Red Cross has opened a register for people who have evacuated their homes due to Victoria's Moyston bushfire.
Evacuees can add their register names to indicate they are safe, while families can use it to search for missing loved ones.
"Being separated from family and friends is one of the most stressful things a person can experience during an emergency," Red Cross State Manager of Emergency Services Angela Sutherland said on Saturday.
"The simplest way to let your family and friends know you're okay, or to find out that your loved ones are safe, is to register with the `Register.Find.Reunite.` service."
People can register online (www.redcross.org.au), by phone (1800 727 077) or in person at a bushfire relief centre.
