A pilot may have damaged his spine when his light plane rolled off a Victorian airport runway and into a ditch.
The man, aged in his 70s, was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition after the accident south-east of Melbourne on Sunday afternoon.
"He was complaining of some back soreness," an Ambulance Victoria spokesman told AAP.
Authorities were called to Tooradin airport just before 12.30pm, with reports a plane had rolled off the runway and into the ditch.
A male teenage passenger was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with only minor injuries, including cuts and abrasions.
