Police smash drug syndicate on Vic coast

Seven people have been charged with drug trafficking following an undercover police operation on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
Police on Thursday said the group was arrested in a series of raids in Tootagrook, Rosebud and Rye last week following the police operation that centred on a Rosebud hotel.
They have since been charged with trafficking and possession offences.

Three of them have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine - the drug also known as ice.
All seven, including three women, were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
