Man and woman arrested in Melbourne raid

A man and woman have been arrested following a early morning raid in Melbourne's outer suburbs.

Police say they raided the unit on Glenora Road at Hampton Park about 5.30am on Friday and found two guns, ammunition, a small amount of cash and drugs believed to be methamphetamine.

The 27-year-old man and 24-year-old woman from Hampton Park remain in police custody at the scene.
