Man arrested over Vic home invasion

A man wanted over a violent home invasion in Melbourne has been arrested.

Armed Crime Squad detectives and the Special Operations Group raided a West Footscray home on Friday afternoon.

A 30-year-old Kings Park man was arrested over a violent incident at a Caroline Springs home last Thursday.

Police alleged the home's owners were menaced with a gun before a single shot was fired, narrowly missing a man.

A 30-year-old West Footscray woman is also being questioned.
