Police investigate Vic rubbish fire links

A car has been extensively damaged after a fire spread from a couch that was torched on a nature strip.

Police say they have located three other places around Vine Street in Moonee Ponds where it appears someone has tried to set hard rubbish on fire.

They believe the incident might be linked to another hard rubbish fire in the same street on September 12 and 13.
