Police hunt Melbourne arsonist

Police are hunting for an arsonist who started a grassfire in suburban Melbourne earlier this month.

Witnesses have told police a man set fire to grass on a roadside at Templestowe on the evening of October 8, amid dangerous bushfire conditions across Victoria.

A passer-by put out the fire. Police have released an image of the suspect in a bid to find him.
