Police escapee captured in Geelong

A Victorian man who escaped police custody has been caught after six days on the run.
The man was arrested in Geelong on Tuesday afternoon after escaping police detention on November 13, police say.
The 31-year-old has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, theft, escaping from custody and drugs charges.

He will appear at Geelong Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
