Police comb 4WD in Melbourne murder probe

Forensic officers have spent the afternoon searching a murdered Melbourne man's Nissan Patrol and a nearby park, three kilometres from where his body was discovered.

Paul Costa was on Monday found dead in his expensive Zegna suit and shoes at Brunswick West's Dunstan Reserve.

The 43-year-old's 4WD was located on Berry Street in Coburg on Thursday, and police and State Emergency Service volunteers also searched the adjacent Robinson Reserve.

Mr Costa's family say they have no idea who would want to kill him, and thought he was dressed up for a date on Sunday night.
