Motorcyclist dies a month after Vic crash

A motorcyclist has died in hospital following a collision with a van in Melbourne's southeast last month.
The motorbike rider, a 36-year-old Bayswater man, died in hospital on Thursday morning following the collision in Knoxfield in mid-May.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian was killed in Melbourne on Wednesday evening after he was struck by a car while crossing a street.
The man, in his 50s, was struck by a car turning right and later died in hospital.
Police are investigating the fatal incident in Box Hill.
The latest deaths take the state's road toll to 137, which is 18 more than at the same time in 2015.
