Pedestrian dead in regional Victoria

A pedestrian is dead after a collision with a truck at a major intersection in a regional Victorian town.

The woman was a pedestrian in Wangaratta when the collision occurred at a major intersection on Ryley St just after 8am on Monday.

The male truck driver stopped and emergency services were called but the woman died at the scene.
