Police are investigating claims a patient was repeatedly assaulted by a nurse at a Melbourne hospital, after reportedly receiving footage of the incidents.
It had been alleged a 34-year-old male patient was assaulted a number of times at Caulfield Hospital in Melbourne's southeast on January 22, Victoria Police said in a statement on Thursday evening.
A 30-year-old Cranbourne West man, identified by News Corp Australia as the victim's carer, has been interviewed by detectives and released pending further inquiries.
