Pair arrested for uploading police video

Two people have been charged in Victoria after an official police interview was uploaded to a video sharing website.

A man aged 32 and woman aged 30 were arrested at properties in Beechworth and Wangaratta, where a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition, phones and allegedly stolen identification cards were also seized.

It is an offence under the Crimes Act for unauthorised person to publish a police interview, and the pair will face court on November 16 on multiple charges.
