One person dead in Vic road crash

A person has died in a collision between a car and a truck in Victoria's far northwest.
The collision happened at an intersection in Merbein West, near Mildura, just after 6pm on Monday, killing an unidentified person in the car and causing minor injuries to the truck driver.
Victoria's road toll is 241, two more than at the same time last year.
