Early votes for more than one million Vics
More than one million Victorians have cast an early or postal vote for the Victorian state election.
After the close of early voting late on Friday, the Victorian Electoral Commission had received 882,259 early votes.
A further 257,936 postal votes had also been received.
The total - 1.14 million votes - accounts for almost 30 per cent (29.96 per cent) of enrolled voters.
Voters who could not attend a polling booth on Saturday were able to vote at 100 Early Voting Centres, from November 17 until 6pm on Friday.
On Saturday, polling booths will open for all voters from 8am until 6pm.
About 2.5 million votes lodged at booths will be counted on Saturday night.
Postal votes can be put in the mail until 6pm on Saturday.
Counting of early votes will get underway on Monday.
