One man dead in Victorian crash

A man is dead after his car veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with another car in regional Victoria.
The man was travelling north along the Midland Hight in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, when he veered onto the wrong side of the road on Sunday morning.
He collided with an oncoming car and died at the scene.

The woman driving the other car had to be extracted from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Victoria's provisional road toll stands at 96, compared to 85 at the same point in 2014.
