One-man crime spree in Melbourne CBD

A Melbourne man faces a slew of charges after a one-man crime spree in the CBD.
As well as a string of alleged burglaries, robberies and thefts across the city, police say the man also stole a car at the intersection of Burke and Swanston Street at lunchtime on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old Mildura man will front the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with 45 offences including aggravated burglary, car theft and armed robbery.
