O'Sullivan the new Vic National

Luke O'Sullivan has been chosen to replace former AFL coach Damian Drum in Victoria's upper house, after the Nationals MP won a federal seat.

Mr O'Sullivan was chief of staff for Victorian Nationals leader Peter Walsh before winning preselection for the Northern Victoria region seat at the Nationals' conference on Sunday.

Mr Drum coached Fremantle in the AFL, spent almost 14 years in the Victorian upper house, before winning the seat of Murray at the recent federal election.
