No drones at AFL or NRL grand finals

Don't fly a drone over the AFL or NRL grand final or you could face a fine of more than $10,000.

The Civil Aviation Authority says the grand finals are drone-free zones, as safety regulations prohibit them being flown over crowds of people.

Police at the MCG and ANZ Stadium will be on the lookout for drones and will take appropriate action.
