A new online social housing register in Victoria will make it simpler for people to access accommodation, the state government says.
Minister for Housing Martin Foley on Sunday launched the Victorian Housing Register, a system aimed at easing the application process through a single, consolidated waiting list.
"This will be an important first step in making sure that we combat the housing crisis and homelessness in a more efficient way," he told reporters on Sunday.
