New heights for Vic spring races attendees
AAP
High-flying Spring Racing Carnival attendees wanting to make a memorable entrance can take a helicopter to the Melbourne track as part of a new service.
The Chapel Street Chopper will help racegoers achieve new heights by flying them directly from the city's stylish precinct to the track for $800 return.
"On race day, you can take care of any last-minute fashion or beauty requirements on Chapel Street, and within five minutes you'll be trackside at Flemington," Chapel Street Precinct Association spokeswoman Chrissie Maus said on Monday.
