New door handles for Melb trains

Train door handles will be replaced on Melbourne trains to stop hand bags and clothing getting caught on them.

A new handle, which has a finger slot and is set inside the door, will be rolled out on all the older model trains that still have protruding metal handles.

The new handle will prevent people becoming caught on passing trains and being dragged down the platform.
