Murder charge over Victorian stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a 49-year-old was fatally stabbed outside a regional Victorian property.
A 40-year-old Strathfieldsaye man was charged on Thursday following his arrest in the morning.
He is accused of killing the older man outside a residential Bendigo address on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.
The 40-year-old man will appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court on Friday.
