Accused murderer in Vic court over deaths

An accused murderer has faced court over the fatal shootings of two men in suburban Melbourne.

Norden Wilio, 23, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted armed robbery.

His alleged victims Ali Ali, 28, and Deniz Hasan, 40 were found dead with gunshot wounds just streets away from each other at Meadow Heights on March 4.

Two other men were arrested on Tuesday, but were released without charge.

Wilio is expected to next appear in the same court on July 9 for a committal mention.
