Son charged with father's murder after alleged stabbing in Melbourne

A 38-year-old man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his father to death at his home in Melbourne.

Roger Kozarov faced an out of sessions hearing yesterday evening and has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.

The wife of the 62-year-old man found him fatally wounded outside their Bundoora home yesterday morning.

Police found Mr Kozarov at a nearby hotel where he was arrested.

A blue ute has been seized for forensic investigation.
