Murder accused faces Melbourne court

DNA evidence and CCTV footage could play an crucial role in a Melbourne murder case, a court has been told.
Troy Burns, 45, was arrested at Chadstone on Friday after a 67-year-old man's body was found in a house at Ashwood the previous evening.
Burns faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday when his lawyer said he suffered from schizophrenia and diabetes, while prosecutors said CCTV footage and DNA evidence will be used in the case, which has been adjourned until January 9.
