Mum fights back at would-be Vic pram thief

A mother has hit a woman in the face who tried to snatch a pram containing her two children in regional Victoria.

The family were walking in Traralgon, a city in Gippsland, on Monday when a blonde woman approached and "grabbed the handle of the pram and tried to pull it out of the victim's hands", police said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

"The victim hit the woman to the face, which caused her to run east along the street", and the family was uninjured.
