Motorcyclist dies at Melbourne roundabout

A motorcyclist has become the 49th person to die on Victorian roads this year after he lost control at a roundabout.

The rider, who is yet to be identified, came off the bike at the intersection of High Street and Melton Highway in Melton about 2.30am on Tuesday, police say.

The exact circumstances are still being investigated.
