Off-duty cop killed in Vic crash

An off-duty police officer has been killed in a motorcycle accident in regional Victoria.

The senior constable from the north-west region was overtaking a car in Reefton on Sunday afternoon when he clipped an oncoming car and was thrown from his bike.

He was then hit by the car that he had just overtaken.

Paramedics were called to the scene but couldn't revive the officer, believed to be in his 30s.
