More disaster relief for Vic after storms
AAP
Disaster assistance has been activated for Victorians living in Mildura and Knox after wild winds and flooding caused damage.
Mildura suffered from heavy rain and flooding during the past few months, while Melbourne's Knox area endured almost a week of power outages as a result of October's wild winds.
The two regions were added on Friday to the Commonwealth-State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangement, which is now helping 50 councils across Victoria and eligible individuals affected by the floods and storms.
