More charges over fatal Melbourne hit-run

Two more teenagers accused of being connected to a fatal Melbourne hit-run crash have been charged with burglary.

Keith Stevens, 33, was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a stolen BMW in Mitcham on Wednesday.

He suffered multiple fractures and burns to 50 per cent of his body, dying in hospital on Thursday.

Police allege four teenagers in the car left the crash scene, dumped the BMW and then did a home invasion in Scoresby, stealing a Toyota.

An 18-year-old Berwick man and 17-year-old Patterson Lakes boy were charged on Sunday.

The Berwick man has been charged with aggravated burglary, motor vehicle theft, home invasion, and attempted home invasion and will front the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Sunday.

The 17-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at a children's court at a later date charged with six counts of aggravated burglary, four counts of theft of motor vehicle, attempted home invasion and home invasion.

Their charges come after a 17-year-old Mooroolbark boy was charged with culpable driving and aggravated burglary, and an 18-year-old Seaford man was charged with aggravated burglary, on Friday.
