Mental health service for Vic principals
AAP
The professionals helping young Victorians prepare for adult life will now get help themselves, thanks to a specialist mental health service for school principals.
Victorian Education Minister James Merlino says the state's 1500 government school principals need to be healthy and happy to give students and staff the best possible learning environments.
The $4 million strategy will include early intervention, specialist advice, and coaching panels of retired principals trained in psychological health.
