Melbourne woman attacked while walking

A woman has been attacked from behind and sexually assaulted on a Melbourne street.

The 26-year-old woman was walking in Box Hill on November 29, when a man came up behind her and covered her mouth with his hand before pulling her to the ground, police say.

The man sexually assaulted her before she managed to scream and he ran off.
